I just noticed that there are tons of 17" monitors on newegg with 16ms response times that are very cheap. Are these good, what else do I have to look for in the monitor?
25ms is decent and will play your games with miminal ghosting. It's just that some of you are very picky. Look for BenQ models as they have plenty of 16ms models and are pretty cheap.
CTX is big is Europe and Asia, they just haven't penetrated the American market.
One reason why it's cheap is it doesn't have DVI, a personal must for me. But if you're on a budget, you can't be too choosey.
If you were too choose between this CTX and that Samsung you linked, I'd choose the Samsung. Cheaper too
bemq are nicely priced have good specs and pretty good quality
i have an iiyama prolite.....and in the uk it was under 300. and they way i see most things...if its 300 pounds here its only 300 dollars to u so
this iiyama has zero dead pixels, and nice bright sharp image. i love it
DVI, 16ms refresh....zero ghosting
i agree wit wobblewobble my m8 has a 25ms refresh rate lcd he got with a package deal computer.....plays games nicely
15" seems a bit too small, so I want this Samsung: http://www.newegg.com/app/View...24-001-158R&depa=1 in the pictures it looks like the screen is slightly tilted back, my friend has an LCD like that, and its really annoying how you can't make it completly vertical could I adjust this monitor? And since its refurbished and OEM, what cables will I need to buy? Do you guys think its safe to buy monitors refurbished?
