Just have really bad allergies..need to get a prescription asap. any sort of light blinds me and I have double vision/blurred vision..its kind of a nightmare to be honest...nothing a few beers won't cure for now. thanks for asking.

Didn't notice this earlier, but you are correct, that blinding beacon is terrible.

I agree, I was a bit shocked and wasn't aware they were about to change anything. It's seriously painful to the eyes and am seriously debating not coming back or at least not nearly as often. I'm a member at several similar forums but they don't have as much in the way of daily threads going on, need to find another that's just as active and I'd be set. Gamespot's pretty active but too many teens, straightdope a little too serious...time to deep search google

Its a bit too white and "apple cartoony" feel to it.
Nit my favorite right now but it could change.
I don't like the avatars appearing outside the discussions. I do find the mobile site better than the previous mobile site.

Agreed. I'm exploring CSS fixes (again, using Stylish) to kill animations. Not sure if this forum software allows animated avatars, but I'd want to keep those from animating too.

If you use adblock you can select that element and hide it that way.

Changes like this have killed just about every forum I ever belonged to. That's how I ended up at Anandtech in the first place four years ago.

This is fucking hideous. I was hoping I could go into my profile and customize the overall theme to be darker, more detail - less Facebook looking... but we can't change a single god damn thing.
