A lot of people try to stop book publication. I don't believe everything I read especially when its political. However, I'm sure the book is excellent. I might pick it up on my next business trip and read while on the plane (thats the only time I have to read).

Yeah, remember all the garbage about how when the rainforests were cut down we'd run out of oxygen... then they found out that 95% of the world's oxygen is produced by the ocean in kelp beds. The environmentalists have been strangely silent about those findings the last 6 months.

Truth is, it's almost impossible to verify or discredit findings when dealing with situations like Iran-Contra, Whitewater, Filegate, etc. People in high office know how to cover their tracks too well, and there's always plenty of people trying to tear down &quot;the establishment&quot; at whatever the cost (via lying, distortion, etc)... these groups often cancel each other out and the public almost never finds out the real truth.

Ya see, that is how to lose credibility. Oh yea, there is no HARD proof, that is just crap. I think we are all adult enough to understand that our leaders don't fess up to all their misdeeds. How can you possibly pretend that Iran-Contra didn't have full approval of those at the top, including Reagan and Bush. Ridiculous

I never said that they had no knowledge of what was going on, I simply said there's almost no way to prove it. You think that the Dems would've let Reagan and Bush slide if they were able to scrape up enough evidence to indict them? After all, the Dems controlled Congress during that time. Remember?
