Funny, he never said anything about the fascists we had last administration.

Not that I disagree with the fact that americans do in-fact enjoy being told what to do by a despot, but that doesn't negate him being a blubbering vagina.

The somewhat fallacy of this thread is in assuming, just because Rush Limbaugh makes a statement, there is an iota of the truth behind it.

Some how Rush Limbaugh does not even make any of my credible source authority lists. In the vernacular, there are short lists for the A team first choices, a longer list of some very credible people who may not be house hold names, and even longer list of people who are sometimes source authorities but some debate exists, and Rush does not appear on any of those lists.

But if I had to list a set of people who should not be believed, Dick Cheney and Rush Limbaugh top that list. Which to list as number one and which should be number two, now that is a real question and hard to decide.

spidey07 has expressed his approval of bush & co and strenuously defended them for years. It wasn't a big leap on my part. However it was a mindless leap on your part.

This isn't a 2 position issue.
Apparently not. You don't approve of anybody. I would call you a partisan hack but non-partisan hack fits you better - the why-can't-we-just-hate-everybody poster.

Bush did bad things, Obama is doing worse things.
We know some of the bad things bush & co did. What bad (and worse) things is obama doing? The effects of many of the programs obama & co have instituted won't be known for a while - some for years. Are you prescient?

In the end they're politicians and lying to the public is their number 1 job. They don't give a shit about you, me, or anyone else that doesn't hold a trump card on them, and thus they do what will make those people and their friends the most amount of money.
Can't disagree with this. My difficulty is determining where you're prevaricating.

Obama and his "party" don't care about us having affordable health care, he cares about using that as a tool to lock in your vote in the next election so he can stay in power and make his buds more money. Same as Bush, and same as the next president.
The jury's still out on this. I don't know for sure and you certainly don't.

Truly, and well put. Neither of those guys nor GWB are even tolerable sources for anything for me. I never ever listen to Rush L. He's entirely anathema.

"Banana Republicans" is now my favorite phrase to over-use in 2009 thanks to this thread

Why are the Liberals even concerned about 3-4 political commentators/windbags?

Cause the longer it appears to the general public who doesn't follow P&N day to day that Limbaugh, Beck, Palin, Joe the Plumber and Cheney are the frontmost faces of the Rep party, the better it is for the libs.

Like for 9/11, never forget the pain the cons have caused.

What is this "representation of the people concept" you speak of? Did you find it in some ancient book?

How could businessmen function in such an environment? How would the arms dealers get the attention they deserve?

You mean the Military Industrial Complex that even Eisenhower couldn?t get under control?

We need someone in power that doesn?t want, or need the job, to do what's right for America. Someone that doesn?t plan on running a for second term that won?t be fodder for special interests and political payback.

Wrong again Xellos2099, that is a decision for the FCC, just invoke the fairness doctrine
and the whole Limbaugh model is gone. And you could search your AM and FM dial in vain to
find that gas bag. Do you really think Limpballs would share access and allow anyone to honestly debate him?

Go ahead, look for Limbaugh on satellite radio or the internet, do you really think that would straighten up his act?

I'm not worried.

I hope those windbags have plenty of wind still left in em.

As one Republican congressman put it earlier this week about Cheney.

"He has come back from the dead to haunt us (republican party)"

So you?re saying that congress itself is a failure? How apropos
But they will keep on trying to swat that damn fly until they get it right some day. Too bad he?s not the president of a failed company so Obama can fire him. Then everything will be well in liberal land.

No FlashG, the democrats, quite properly so, will not try to censor Rush. There is plenty of room in this great nation for the truth and Limbaugh delusions.

If you want to believe a word Limbaugh says, feel free to do so. Just be prepared to accept the fact that you are very unlikely to find any enlightenment there.

Quite true. Unfortunately this mutual admiration society is filled with scholars who benefited from a good public school ?liberal education?. Move along nothing to see here.

"You see...Americans like dictators....hence the reason why Obama's approval ratings are so high."

Actually he was talking about Obama doing better than America in a poll of Arabs

"Obama more popular than U.S. among Arabs: survey"

http://www.reuters.com/article...icsNews&rpc=22&sp=true

He added that that made sense since "Arabs like dictators". He did infer Obama was dictatorial but he did not say "Americans Liked dictators" .

Hi Winnar, how's it hanging?

Let's see since he is name calling I'll try one.

Limbaugh comes back from the Dominican with a plane load of guys, a bottle of Viagra under a false name with an odd number of pills.

That makes him either a closeted homosexual or a prostitute loving hypocrite.

I have a better chance of being right them him.

Fairness doctrine IS the problem as it mainly aim at radio talk show since it doesn't apply to news media. There aren't many liberal radio talk show is there? As I recall, it was certain democrat who tried to get fairness doctrine reinstalled.

Did this guy really quit doing drugs?

Rush is not paid to say Obama's a great guy.

he's about 60, he probably does take some drugs. that $400 million contract ought to pay for some doctor visits.

So you're saying that President Obama and the Democratic (Socialist) Congress acting in unison still can't muster one minor dictatorial act?
