I did both... $16.95 ($10 + $6.95) isn't much for a full packaged version of the OS... of course, neither is $69.95 w/o the discount in comparison to Windoze.

Extremely difficult to argue with or complain about something given away for free, although some seem to always find an avenue to do so.

My experience with previous versions of Lindows thus far hasn't been admirable (in truth, it was down right awful), but if the company that creates this distribution is willing to give it away in the hopes of building a customer base, I am more than willing to give it another try. I certainly wish other software companies would adopt a similar policy instead of a "limited shareware" model approach.

You have to be the person who is supposed to be getting it in order to have access. The url is http://download.lindows.com/start_ftp_download.php?dlobjid=62, but it won't work. (mine errored before I could get a copy)

I had a little trouble getting to the download so I called the company. They said they know their server is getting hammered. If you got your account setup and got the receipt, you can go back later to download the ISO. Time for a midnight download.

I run Mandrake 9.2 and not planning on changing to Lindows but I was curious and you can't beat free...
