I saw in a review that the fx 5200 got beat in most tests by a ti4200. Does any body know what type of 17" tft flat panel that is for 299 AR? Is it any good? I'm over an hour away from Fry's.

FYI For you Dallasites.

The Dallas Frys ad is huge, for the grand openning of the Irving store. Most of the good prices are good today only, but you can goto the Dallas, Arlington, or Irving store. FYI I just got back from the Irving store and it is packed waited nearly an hour just to get into the store (fyi after the store was already open 2 hours), and spent about another 45 min in the checkout line.

If I was in Dallas/Arlington/Irving area I'd be all over one of those stores. Remember when the Fry's in Irvine opened here? Man, we snagged all sorts of hot deals during that Grand Opening!

FWIW the Athlon XP/ECS bundles must be selling well because they actually raised the price by $10 this week on both the XP 2200+ (mid-week sale) and the XP 2400+ (currently). I was hoping it would move in the other direction.

Circuit City has the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz on sale for $79.99 - $40MIR. It's selling for $50 without a rebate at Fry's this weekend. If you could get CC to price match Fry's $50 price and still got the $40 MIR you could get the card for $10.

its the real price, that is the usual price range as it is the slowest fx card

I'm thinking about getting the USB 2.0 PCI card ($10 - 10 = free AR). Although, I don't know when I'd be able to.

The prices in a Friday ad are good through the following Tuesday. So in this case, you have until the day after tomorrow. It won't be the end of the world if you miss it this time around though. It's a deal that comes up every three or four weeks.
