Ditto that. I have had mine since May and have had one problem with it thus far. I have flashed each firmware upgrade as it was released, and the latest flash appears to have cured the problem I was having (internal loopback was not working right in v1.35).

Moose, great find. Actually I had already bought the router and used the $30 off, but didn't realize there was another $20 rebate. Funny how the buy.com page doesn't advertise the rebate, they're usually pretty goo about it.

PS: Great companion switch is the EZXS55W which after PM and rebate (same form) is about $17 from staples. There was a thread, do a search.

actually couldnt you save another ten bucks by price matching with staples and then take the 40 off 150 coupon that is floating around?

I pricematched over the phone with a networking kit,,,and used coupon and even got free shipping to boot.....

Hunk o' chit... A few have used it and are happy with it. MANY have used it and it was worthless for them.

If you want a router that has worked for EVERYONE who has tried it, and eveyone who has owned one was happy with it, look for the deal on the SMC Barracade DSL switch/router. Much more reliable, and MORE features. Has a built in print server as well. A much better piece of hardware.

I just put in my network a few days ago,,I have been hunting out deals on a router,,,but everyone here has so many opinions on this router and that router that I am confused as to which one to buy,,
I need one for easy installation that is NOT going to give me any problems to install,,along with the quality and speed....

I would think this router is compatible with all ISP's because it supports PPPoE for people who don't have a static IP. Also I've had this router for 4 months and have had no problems whatsoever.

This router has a wide reputation for having problems staying connected.

I tried 2 of them. Had to unplug and replug them a couple of times a day -- and that was with the most recent bios upgrade.

I'm with GWBaker. Why buy a product that has so many unhappy users? Once you find out that you are one of the "unhappy" buyers you have a problem to wrestle with.

Linksys also has a rep for slow unresponsive customer service, but I didn't go through them so I can't vouch for that.
