Linksys Router on NT DHCP Server

Having a bit of a problem with this and can't find any documentation on it. I've setup the router not to use DHCP, my NT server will assign the ip's fine, however I still can't connect to the internet. My internal network ip range is 192.168.10.xx and I've assigned the Linksys 192.168.10.100 for the LAN IP Address and mask 255.255.255.0
I've got all of the WAN IP info entered given from ISP (Static IP.
I've got Proxy installed on the server and it was working fine, I've since stopped all the proxy services.
One thing that just popped in my head, maybe I should add a router to the scope of my DHCP server with the IP address assigned to the linksys. Thats probably it, will try it now and update.

set the nt dhcp server to assign a default gateway and dns server of the linksys router ip address

Does the router/connection work fine with DHCP enabled?

You didn't by chance turn off DHCP to the outside world did you? If your connection needs DHCP (a lot do), then you might have turned off DHCP inside and outside.

Thanks for the replies guys. I have set the router up for DHCP and it works fine. I do not need DHCP for the Internet since I have a static IP. I'm convinced this is a NT issue. When I am logged onto the NT Server is when I am having a problem. I have added the scopes: 03 Router with the ISP Default Gateway IP and 06 DNS Servers also with the ISP DNS Server IP's.
Do I need to reserve an IP address for the Router? Its not letting me reserve the IP of the router BTW.
I'm also noticing that when I send a request to the internet the activity light is not flashing at all, I am getting a link light on the router for the WAN.

Not the solution you are probably looking for but why don't you shift the DHCP to the router instead of the nt box? Won't save much but it will save some system resources.
Do you have any problems with connecting to the internet from any other box? You mentioned this only happens when you are logged into the nt box.

Well I've got it straightened out. I was on the right track to begin with, I needed to add the scope 03 router in the Server DHCP settings and point it to the static IP of the Router. For some reason when I had done this before it wasn't working. I reset the router and rentered everything and it worked first time.
BTW, I wasn't exactly clear, I couldn't get an internet connection when the clients were logged into the NT server or from the server itself. Everything worked fine when I did use DHCP on the router instead of the server.

Thanks for posting back the solution. Not enough people do this for these types of problems. IMHO.
I had a similar thing happen to my 3com router. Reset it a couple times and it worked itself out.
