I have this D-link Air DWL-650 that I'm using with a toshiba laptop to connect to a Linksys WAP. I can't get the software to install on the laptop, which is running Win XP Home. (It installed on the server which is running Win XP Pro, but that was just for test purposes.) Since I can't get the D-link software to install, I can only use Win XP Home's built-in software to get the card to connect with the Linksys WAP if I dont use WEP. I've tried all kinds of ways to get the card to connect with the WEP configured on the Linksys WAP and the Win XP Home Software, but it just wont. Any else have any experience with this problem?
