I just placed an order too. I think this deal is legit since I've seen G routers for around $70-75 in B&M stores. This isn't too much cheaper which makes it "believeable." But I wouldn't mind a cancelled order with a GC.

I think it is correct price cause if you do a search and where the price usually is it says "price to low to display". You only see the price when you put it in your cart. Thats why I don't think it's a price mistake.

As for reviews.. Looks like the old firmware revisions may be having problems. Looks like they fixed a lot of it since. Their latest version came out last month (802.11g was ratified on 15th June... and this was on 21st July...) so...probably has a bunch of improvments. So.. first upgrade firmware.. and then test

Ok, I don't know jack about networking. If I buy this product, can I use the access point as a wireless connection on my computer while my roommates use a wired connection on the same router? I don't think they all want to buy wireless cards or access points. Thanks.

yep... That would work. You can have upto 4 other people connected by wire and I think...upto 255 people (Theoretically if no wired conn's are used) wirelessly.

As far as I know... it has limited features regarding firewalls. It has NAT technology... which prevents outsiders from being able to access ur PC easily... but...it will not have all the features you may expect from a firewall. .

It does have most features which will be used by a typical home user in a hardware firewall

here it is me buying a nice apartment (less than 1.5 miles to the ocean maybe 3/4 mile to the intercoastal and nice nite life) only to find out it has only one phone jack in the kitchen.......

So I come to anandtech HD and see the heaven's have parted and offered me a cheap solution.....

I have one ordered that MAY ship that I don't want. It is in the shipping process and says I can't cancel it. I emailed them telling them to cancel it last night when it was still at the $66.88 price. It isn't cancelled as of now. IF it doesn't get canceled like I asked, I would be willing to sell it at cost + reasonable shipping. I would prefer a local pickup if someone is in mideastern NC (Raleigh-Greenville).
