Linux chat prog?

I am thinking of doing a dual boot with linux, but i jsut want to know if there are versions of IM or trillian that work on linux, cause that would be the main thign that would make me mad (not being able to talk to peple). I use trillian now and i love it, anything like it or a version of it that runs on linux?
