Yes, once I start using linux I'll stop showering, shaving and losing all form of communication with the creatures known as "females". I will then start to mutter to myself about these facinating creatures and how I will one day capture one for myself. Hopefully my 3 foot long hair (both head and facial) and horrible stench will not scare the creature away.
or you can be a young professional like myself, driving a german sedan and using an operating system thats efficent and customizable to your needs. But if you know jack sh!t about unix, then theres no point in arguing with you since you never experienced the other side.

Linux spawned the global and open source developer model where people constantly look for problems that need fixing and possibilities that need developing. By the utilization and collaboration of global communities, these problems and possibilites are addressed globally, a new and definitely interesting engineering model is actuated.

Trust me, you don't realize how much Windows sucks until you have run a few dozen servers with it. Last week I had to reboot every single one of them and impact a few hundred users to patch a security hole in INTERNET EXPLORER. Yeah, that's right, a whole afternoon wasted to fix a bug in a frickin' WEB BROWSER!
Meanwhile, my Linux servers were unaffected as usual. And, even if I did have to patch the web browsers on then, I could do it without rebooting them or impacting my users in the slightest bit.

Meanwhile, you suck @ teh server, and I will now hit you over the head with the few decades of combined uptime at the university where I worked in IT administration.

I have informed Slashdot about your recent pro Windows activities. They will be here soon, so I would suggest you pack your luggage and make like a banana and split.

Oh, I bet that THOSE systems are real secure...
Most of the Microsoft security patches don't take effect until after you reboot them, just because of annoyingly integrated nature of the OS. On my xNIX boxes, however, I can just restart the affected service 90% of the time.

Number of security compromises in previous five years - Three.
All due to the co-op IT student installing software.
And for two, subsequently losing their job.
And as far as your "oh noes, you have to rebo0tx0r" crap, I have only one thing to say.
Load balancing owns you.
