Hello all. After some googling and searching these forums, I was unable to find an answer to my question. Basically, I've written a router web-interface for a Linux box (similar to m0n0wall). It has come time to create a distributable source tar.gz package to be deployed for testing. I know how to create a Makefile.am to complile/install binaries from source, but I also have a directory that contains a lot of php scripts for the front-end web interface.
My question is this: How would I specify in the Makefile.am file that I want it to take an entire directory tree of scripts and have it install to a specified location without having to use ./configure --prefix=<some dir>? Also, there are some files that I am going to need to have to be installed in the /etc dir as well (configuration files). If anyone knows how to do this, I would GREALY appreciate maybe a quick tutorial or something.
Thanks!!
