For news is popular because of its conservative values, maybe those values are right or far right but majority of ppl, ppl at the center and center left like them, things such as prayers in schools, criticizing teen pregnancy, having to explain to your child why 1 of the 2 men living next door is called wife, why govt is spending so much money on illegal immigrants, why they can do anything while we cant even touch them, the "majority" of Americans like Fox's take on these issues, after all being a part of the majority is not a sin or crime but in today?s world the minority rules... and this channel speaks for the majority

**** END OF TROLL ****

Uhhh no dude. Fox is not as popular as you might think, but you go ahead and keep believing that based on whatever ridiculous numbers you find which are misleading from an educated conclusion. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

When you look at the issues, the surge, immagration and education, McCain took sides against Bush.

That might be enough for you, but it is not anywhere near enough for many other people. That is why Obama will win and McCain will lose. No one wants the spend like Bush was spending anymore. They don't even want it to be 50% like Bush let alone 90%.

Laugh all you want. We'll see who is laughing in November.

You want more? How about you take a look at how McCain's view on education as you mentioned and how his desire for vouchers to fund private schools would completely wreck public funding for education. Look up the 5-7-9 amendments which recently got shot down in FL and with good reason. They are right in line with McCain's way of thinking and it sucks. It doesn't matter if it is similar to what Bush wanted or not.

This gripe about "lipstick on a pig" is just as stupid as the "uppity" statement. Both are examples of each side jumping up and down and pointing fingers at the other.

One thing this election year has made clear is that is sure as hell wasn't Bush who was the divider. It's the staunch knuckleheads of each party who are widening that chasm.

That's exactly what I am talking about. Those numbers really don't prove much of anything because they do not take into consideration the whole picture. Andy stated that "the "majority" of Americans like Fox's take on these issues". Well, what about all of the Americans that don't get their news from TV? What about all of the Americans that don't watch the news at all and form their opinions based on information that take in from hear say or e-mails? None of these people are taken into consideration within these kinds of numbers. That is one hell of a wide margin of error.

What's truly ridiculous about your straw man argument and link is that you are holding up O'Reilly's viewership (1 million) with a comparison to other cable channels. I got news for yah, bud ...

That viewership is nothing .

30 million people watch the evening news. 14 million people watch network morning news. Sunday network news programs have 10 million viewers.

There are 3 times the numbers of viewers who watch Frontline on PBS than watch O'Reilly's tripe.

If "Chicago style politics" is having your opponent say ingnorant staments that only hurts his own campaign, I say bring it on!

Why should McCain attack? Obama is hand delivering him votes. If anything, he should send him a thank you card.

Well, to be fair, when I hear or read "Fox" I don't immediately think of TV. I think of their website so it really wasn't an attempt to change subjects, but in the end a story by Fox is a story by Fox just like any other source of news.

Otherwise, we are both on the same page in regards to their being both left and right sources of biased news media. However, choosing to lean more towards the left doesn't lose any more readership than leaning towards the right.

What he said can only be considered an ignorant statement by those that are too stupid or too lazy to see that the context was anything but referring to Palin and the sound bite clip that McCain is going to run with is about as honest of an ad as Bush saying that he was opposed to the Iraq invasion from the beginning.

But if you want to add your name to the list of people that think it was "an ignorant statement"....feel free. At least we now where to categorize you.

Watch the full context of the statement and it is self explanatory.

It is blatantly clear that it was very contextually appropriate and very accurate. And it had nothing to do with Palin even though McCain is crying crocodile tears stating the opposite.

So, is that supposed to combat the fact that her and McCain are both just the next in a line of POS lying despots constantly being churned out by the "conservative" party? Or did you really just have nothing to say, like usual?

Oh, and where is this basement or glass you speak of?
