they used to have a deal a couple of weeks ago if you buy a Value meal, you get 2 mcnuggets for free. these were the new white meat variety.

personally, i liked the dark meat ones better. but these are suppose to be more healthy, if there's such a thing in mcdonalds

The McDonalds by my place does serve 50 pieces in buckets, but they also have them at this price on game days (I live within 2 blocks of a football and basketball stadium at campus). McDonalds that don't usually have this offer? Who knows . . .

BTW, for those who haven't had nuggets in a while, the white meat nuggets really are signifiantly better then the older nugets in taste. ALMOST good enough to pass the "eat cold" test (of which wendies is the only fast food chain that passes at the moment).

Yeah I miss the good old days when you could expect some unhealthy but tasty nuggets at McDonald's. *sigh*

And Wendy's nuggets aren't quite as satisfying as the old McDonald's type IMHO...they're too loose and greasy tasting.

They're not bad though, just not quite as good the old school dark meat McDonald's nuggets...

I remember about a year ago someone posted the same deal and most of us were shocked that their was a 50 piece nugget. Anyway, the person actually posted the picture and its a big chicken tub. 50 nuggets is insane though. You gotta have about 5 people so you can each eat 10 nuggets.

Normally im not a pessemistbut I cant resist. Im sure the mcdonalds CEO spat into the first batch of restamped white nuggets anyway. So now when they say white meat only it means meat without heads and feet (dark meat) in the mix. I could go on but I feel bad for the marketing crew that cooked this up, all they had to work with was a purple teletubby, a crook, and a clown. If one of the marketing guys is reading this, do us all a favor and make a new damned commercial or at the very least mix things up a bit. I cant change the channel without expecting to see the same "Im loving it" commercial at least every 6 minutes. Im done ranting. PS I love MCD's frys, you cant beat em.
