-ATi Radeon 9800 pro 128mb (Cost $150, This was the KING, and will be my last AGP card)
All my ATI cards are Built-By-ATI
I always prefered ATI more than Nvidia, maybe cause ATI was my first gaming graphics card, it has better 2d then and still now but not as much, the coloring is better then and the same now, ATI make their own card so warrenty was easy. over all ATI seems to work better for my needs most of the time, which is muti-media. I never had once have problem with their drivers.
The Retail ATi Radeon 8500 is still faster than the current 9000, 9100, 9200se, 9200, 9600se. It's a pretty old card that is still doing pretty well. You can still have fun playing Half-life 2 with this baby, just not Doom 3. I got to say that was the best $200 I have ever spend on a Brand New top of the line card that was just released ( super dell deal) and things really start to move on ATI's side after it's release.
Maybe my next card will be Nvidia??? PCI-X??? or AGP-x?? Will AMD ever make a Graphics card?
