He's making a very valid statement that nothing out right now is worth wasting your time on and that he and many other are awaiting the return of a UO-inspired MMORPG as opposed to the countless EQ clones we're got instead. An EQ game takes FAR less thought and time to make than a UO game and has a greater Pavlovian effect (easier to hook people) which is why that's all we've got.

4 months I think. All T1 learning skills are rank 5. I never really get into the game, need cash but hate doing anything to get it.

What's required to fly a battleship? I have cruiser rank 5 and space ship (I believe thats the name) rank 5.
Edit: But I probably can't afford any of the weapon tech skills.

You have level 5 cruiser... that must taken a long time... BS only requires Space Ship Command 4 and Cruiser 4. Depending on what race you are, you should have acquired most of the skills to do the large guns or torps/cruises that the battleship requires.

I'm a minmitar. Very few gun skills learned or bought at this point because I never even bought an actual cruiser. I'll check when I get home and see what I've got.
