uhh well i would think if the present is "sentimental" then only YOU would know what to get her. how are we supposed to know what she likes, don't u think you would know her best?! put some thought in it. that's what i mean, we can't do it for u. if u actually LISTEN to your gf, u should have no problem with this.

omg, that would have kicked ass when I was in HS. I only had one date/bf in HS, so this never happened to me (only went out 2 months), but I think I would have fainted from happiness if someone had done this for me. Or in some HSs, they have this thing where you can send flowers (carnations) on Valentines Day, for people in HS, get about 10 for your gf and she will love you.
