I was listening to someone talk and said that most lotto winners are not programed to be successful if they were not already doing well before the win. Lots end up in trouble and unhappy. Id like to think that I would be happy with all that cash.

- Id hire an attorney and CPA
- I would invest half in low risk investments/IRAs.
- I would get a spread that had the essentials to let my family be self sufficient when/if the next Katrina scale disaster hits.

Why a lawyer to watch the cpas? and why even watch them in the 1st place if they're competing against one another.

These are the things I would do.

Hire financial adivsor, prior to presenting ticket, in order to best maximize distribution of money to people I would want to receive some. Also make sure my children are setup with trust funds. (Also make sure any of their college loans are paid off.)

I would pay off all my debts. (Not what do I do with $5).

I would not want to move, and I would not buy new vehicles.

I would quit my job after waiting one year after receiving money, to make sure I can live
with the money without blowing it all quickly.

I would then go back to college to start on the first of many Ph.D.'s.

I would take my family on a much needed vacation to some tropical area.

Enjoy life even more, spend more time with the wife (well, I will be dead in 3 days.)
