2. take a really nice vacation (I'd like to start in Ireland and slowly make my way out to Japan)
3. quit my job so I could go to school full-time (if I really never had to worry about money, I'd probably become a professional student and try and get a dozen PhD's in various subjects)

I have to say that would be sweet. I hate college sometimes, but it's because of the pressure of having to do well or you're screwed... with that gone I could see myself really getting into some subjects

1) buy property on which to build a sensibly-sized/priced house, but with my own 1st-rate well/septic system, geothermal heat, solar+wind generators... never pay another utility bill again! (Heck, put up a tower on my property so they pay ME for rural internet access!)

2) Rebuild my music studio in a soundproofed room! Not insane, but $10,000 worth of good music equipment and software! (My dream studio! Ahhhh...)

3) Manage the money for long-term savings/earnings.

4) Couple sensible family cars - one for the family (minivan) and one/two small cars for me/wife to buzz into town in. Electric or super fuel economy. Screw fast cars - that's just stupid. That said.... those Mini Coopers may not have the best mileage but they're nifty. So I'm not TOTALLY sensible...

1) Take about two weeks off from school, then pay off my teachers to give me good grades (only for high school, lol.)
2) Buy a house.
3) Pay off DMV to give me my license three months early and buy a car.
