Under the $30 rebate it says:

So I'm not sure if the other rebate will work. Both rebates do go to different places though.

too my the drive has a boring look, unlike my 32x TDK

the question arised some months ago, "does the 2 minutes again (32x vs 52x) worth a $100, when 52x for 100 was a super hot deal. i made my decision against it back then. now the same question is back but only much tougher choice to make....

Got one yesterday too. The drive is awesome so far. Just make sure you turn on DMA since it didn't turn on automatically for me. Ive never done a circuit city rebate before but hopefully they come through.

i went to the CC in edison, nj. the drives were purely packaged. no shrink wrap or seal. i opened one up and found that the plastic bag containing the drive was somewhat creased as if the drive was previously owned by someone else. a returned item perhaps.

Nah, they're new. That pink bag is an anti-static bag. Look at the production date. Mine is July.

Man, I just got one of the last 3 in Boulder, CO. Thank you so much for this deal. I have to reformat my computer and that requires cleaning out 60 gigs of data....

My only beef with this deal is that the fool at the register did not give me the rebates.... for some reason, they did not print out on the receipt. Oh well, thanks again for the deal.

I ordered online Thursday night for local pick-up Friday. The rebates didn't print and the clerk couldn't get them to print. She said to use the ones online, which is what I already had printed out.

I got mine at the B&M at Easton here in Columbus - the shelves were stocked solid. There were seriously no fewer than 15 drives. The price tag was old and incorrectly listed the price, but the correct price and all of the rebates showed up at checkout. An awesome deal, and a great drive so far.
