I just finished the story mode last night. It was a lot shorter than I was expecting. User made levels better live up to the hype. There's still the matter of redoing each stage for 100% but unless user made levels are out of this world fantastic, I'm not seeing much replay value here. I was expecting a much longer game.

edit: oh yea and i gave online a shot to do one of the 4 player puzzles... Waiting for people who keep failing to make a difficult jump is really frustrating but its even MORE annoying to BE the person everyone else is waiting on..

I disagree. Giving the people modding tools and level creation tools is a huge selling point. It tells people that there will always be new content to play, and not a set end to the game.

yahtzee made a good pointin his review...users aren't professional game designers...most user made content is total crap. you only get a few people out there that actually know what they are doing.

True, but apart from just playing through other peoples' levels making your own levels can be great too. There's so much shit you can do with your levels that if can't find a reason to enjoy it then it's your own damn fault for having no creative thought at all. Maybe people were expecting something else from this game, but everything I read and heard about up to release was how focused it would be on created content and custom level design. That's exactly what we got.
