Maybe so. Being afraid of a gun is different than respecting the proper end of one and knowing what to do in those kinds of situations if she's assaulted with one.

LA County's population is 50% higher than Israel's. It is naive to assume that if people didn't have guns, they'd stop killing people. I suspect LA has a lot of gun deaths because it has a lot of gangs. If you take away their guns they'll kill each other with knives.

Why don't you bring out the stat that if you keep a gun in your house, it's 40 times more likely to be used against yourself or a family member than against a burglar?

The facts are that this country has obscene levels of gun violence compared to many other countries. Again, I'm not saying we should grab all the guns, but are you telling me you disagree that we glorify guns in a way here that might be somewhat... reckless?

i have been shooting loads of time. all sorts of stuff, too. and while it was not necessarily a feminine activity, i did not feel like a man.
