i also read a study where they took 100 kids (in groups, not all 100 at the same time) and in each group, 1/2 the kids were raised around guns and the other 1/2 had not. The kids ranged in ages from 4-9yrs old....

anyway they put these kids into groups and left them with a toy box filled with all different stuff and at the bottom was a toy gun.
Overwhelmingly, the kids who had been raised around guns, even as young as four acted the same... the refused to touch it and wanted to call for an adult. the kids who were not raised around guns were the ones who picked them up and played with them, pretending to shoot at other kids. the gun savvy ones yelled for them not to and got distressed.

i wish i could find the site for that study now.

I can guarentee if you took a list of the 100 most cultured, sophisticated individuals modern American society has to offer, not a single one of them would list "shooting large automatic weapons and blowing up cars" as a hobby or interest.

However, should you make a list of the 100 most ignorant, ass-backward hicks of modern American society, a large majority would claim to be lifetime members to that club in that video.

You idiots are so blind to your own repulsive, philistine lives.

Fortuantly being extremely sophisticated is just as bad as shooting large full auto's.
hahaha. feel so sorry for those 'upper class' people

Its funny the OP and many didn't comment on how this isn't a minigun or a M2HB .50. Its a M1919A3 .30 for the record. Knob Creek has a better gun shoot and trade show. Been to both. Sad.

We, as a society, apparently no longer have an issue with the simulation of a persons brains being blown out on TV (this happens daily but generates few if any complaints) but can't handle the naked human body.

We are a SICK, SICK country.

Violence=Yay!
Sex=Nay!

I was probably going to mention something like that if no one else did. Well said.

I like how when anyone makes a point in a thread there are 3 posts quoting it so all 4 people can get in on the circle jerk.

:roll: You are one missinformed kneejerk. No toothless hillbilly could ever afford the gun nor the ammunition let alone pass the process one has to go through to be allowed to legally own and automatic weapon. The kind of people that own them legally are not the kind of people the silly liberal gun grabbers need to worry about.

Every once in a while Ronstang, I totally agree with what you type.

The movies make it look like a gun battle lasts a long time with full auto....no they don't.

Didn't CS teach us that?

Yeah and that's with a MAC-11, not exactly the most accurate or well-balanced weapon.

It'll be even faster with a much more refined gun such as an H&K MP5 and it's diopter sights . . .

Did you bother to read any of my follow up posts? I have shot a Mac 11 and other full auto weapons. Some of my best friends have collecitons of them and I have full access to shoot them anytime I want. I don't play CS as it is a crappy game.

Depends on what range yer talking about. I hip fired 15 rounds out of a m249 at 100meters on a human sized target and didn't hit sh1t. A few more and I coulda dialed it in.

I did. And compared to a H&K MP-5, the Mac-11 is less accurate . . . the CS comment was a joke . . . I thought that much was obvious?

And don't tell me that the MAC-11's .380ACP (i.e. 9mm short) is better than the MP-5s 9mm Parabellum because the 9mm Parabellum is obviously a superior cartrige both in accuracy and wounding potential . . . you'd need .45ACP to get to a similar level of effectiveness as a 9mm parabellum (if you use FMJ)

I like Ronstang. His opinions are honest and anybody who realizes that CS is a crappy game gains bonus points in my book. :thumbsup:

I would like CS if it wasn't infested with noobs and cheaters. I did enjoy it when it was a "new" mod. No way I would play it now.
