While I basically disagree with like 90% of Liz Cheney's brand of conservatism, I have to give her credit where it is due for having the most balls on any Pub I've ever seen and basically just calling DT out for what he is.

ESPECIALLY when other conservatives/Pubs feel the same way she does but STFU out of "fear of reprisal" and other bullshit.

There are two realms of disagreement here and one is far more important than the other.

Liz Cheney has terrible policy ideas. Absolutely awful ones. They totally deserve criticism. That being said, we should embrace her as an ally because she, unlike many republicans, is okay with those policy ideas not being implemented if they lose in elections. That’s the difference.

I would add to that something I've said before when republicans criticize Trump and people call them a piece of shit for being conservative, which is that it's actually far more useful to have a conservative republican calling out Trump for being a dictator than it is for a liberal or say, a journalist. In fact, the more one disagrees with her ideas, the better she is in this role. Maddow herself understood that well, which is why she spent 5 minutes in her video saying how she is polar opposite of Cheney on every issue, before interviewing her.

I will also say that Cheney has shown some character in all this. She gave up first her leadership then her seat to oppose Trump.
