Loaded MBM and get this annoying beep...any ideas?

Well for the life of me i cant figure out how to turn it off. Its a beeping sound thats unlike the warning whistle. And even if i turned MBM off, its still there. I have to re-start the PC to get rid of the beeping.

Any ideas?
Any other alternative to MBM?

My system uses the Gigabyte GA-IEXP and am using the latest F8 BIOS.

have you looked in bios to see if your hardware monitoring isn't detecting something below the alarm threshold?

It is definately something that has exceded the alarm threshold, possibly voltage on your one of your rails or temp on a CPU or system.

Try this, I had the same thing happen to me with an older version of MBM:

Go to the "General" screen on MBM, then to the "Advanced" section. Check the box that says "Do not rest sensor chip on startup of MBM", then click on the "apply" in the lower left corner of the screen. This worked for me but back then it was buried in the mbm.ini file. He's since moved it to the configuration screen. Good Luck!

Depending on the motherboard, the sensor causing the beep might be misidentifying the source of its signal.

Beeker, i have actually adjusted the potson my powersupply to give it a "slight" nudge over the default settings.Does this mean a little more juice is bad?

im getting this readings actually:

3.3=+3.44
12V=11.98
5V=3.36(obviously a misreading)....checked the BIOS to be sure and its actually at 5.08 or something.

haha I had the same problem with the same board. Never did figure it out. Even after I shut off MBM the beep was still there.....beeb....beeb....beeb

Yea, same here, even though nothing was wrong. I had even turned off all alarms at one point and still it didn't stop beeping. I ditched MBM and downloaded SpeedFan
