Local Apple store roxors my boxors

As a follow-up to my earlier thread, I took my broken piece of shit iPad 2 into the local Apple store and met with Sara. She plugged the iPad into one of their power supplies, crossed her arms and said, "huh."

"That's what I said," I mumbled.

After staring at it for about a minute, she said, "Sometimes they just need a hard reset."

After completing the hard reset, she stands back, crosses her arms again, and says, "I can just get you a new one if you like."

"That would be great," I say. "Thank you."

Ten minutes later, I walk out with a replacement. Experience = 5 bajillion times better than phone support.

Yes, instead of taking it, repairing it and then giving it back to you. They just give you a new one. I was in and out in ten minutes, same as the OP.

Customer service is overrated.

Android did customer service first, and then apple stole it.

So what, it's not like Apple invented customer service.

What if I want to install a custom ROM on my customer service?

Apple fanboi's didnt even want customer service until Steve Jobs told them they needed it.

If I want bad customer service, at least i have a choice.
