Local Artist -- What do you think?

I know it's rough and has some room for improvement, but what do you think? It doesn't fill all styles, but I think she has a lot of talent and if she works at it - she may be able to go somewhere.

It's ok, pretty repetitive, but a decent hook. I hope she's not using this cut as a demo, though, cause it's pretty rough (digital piano, poorly balanced, voice sounds like it was recorded in the basement without trying to wake people upstairs up ). It's decent though, with potential (to steal your adjective).

Thanks for your constructive criticism. As it was recorded in the basement, on a 50 dollar recorder and I used a tape to line in on my PC.

No problem. I used to write/record pop and rock songs before going purely classical. I understand working with cheap equipment and recording in less-than-ideal spaces.
