My "local" Circuit City, as in an hour drive away....for me it's local, had stacks of Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound cards on clearance for $25. Not too bad a price for a still-decent sound card.

In fact, the Turtle Beach was the only sound card. It is being phased out in favor of Montego, Catalina and Riviera. If your thing is recording music in stereo, Turtle Beach is an outstanding card and an outstanding bargain -- even at it's preclearance price.

Uhhh... I think they had it right before... with Turtle Beach being the company and Santa Cruz being the specific card.
I owned one and built 2 other systems with them.
Also, I find your link pretty amusing

This is a good card? I was looking at the Audigy 2, and was wondering if I'd be disappointed

Nope went by mine after work, didn't see a single one of those TBs. But they got a few SB Live 24-bit for $30 each, no clue if that is any good deal.
