In a time when TV news personalities are getting caught in their own scandals, it appears viewers trust their local stations more than the big networks.
The Quinnipiac University Poll surveyed American voters about the trustworthiness of TV news media.
FOX News Channel appeared to be the top network, with 20 percent of American voters saying that they trust FOXs journalistic coverage a great deal and 35 percent saying somewhat. It was also rated the most trusted network according to 29 percent of voters. FOX was followed by CNN, at 22 percent, and NBC and CBS, which both tied at 10 percent.
Interesting note is that according to the same poll Fox News was also the most distrusted network. (Had the highest percentage of people saying they were 'not at all trustworthy'.)
Odd for such a trustworthy network to omit that.
Man it's sad that in this day and age most trusted has absolutely nothing to do with the quality or accuracy of the information being presented, just whether or not the viewer is hearing what they want to hear.
That's exactly why Fox News viewers are the most misinformed in almost every poll.
It is sad. It is even worse how people get super defensive when you point out how bad Fox is.

So are you defending Fox? Or just deflecting? You said yourself they're the most likely to lie; that doesn't excuse MSNBC for making false claims themselves but Fox is even worse.
