Locate PC on same phone line

Hi,

Our lass is on her laptop about 12 feet away from me. She's connected by a 56K modem, XP and AOL.

I'm on USB modem, Broadband, Local ISP, W2K.

As she's literally next to me and on same phone line - Is there a utility to find her. No PortScan stuff as my ISP is valuable to me.

Quick answer would be greatly appreciated

Whether she his on the same Telephone line or on a Tel. line on the "Moon":moon: it does make a difference (Electrons do not have proximity sensors). There is no way to find someone on the Internet unless you know their IP address. (Or have a Subpoena;:shocked:to allow the ISP to do so).:brokenheart::beer:
