There is some dude that does some nice videos...but they are mostly reviews of locks from the perspective of an extremely skilled lockpick--Lockpick Lawyer or something, I think?
He mentions the set of proper lockpicks that you need and why, the various classes of locks styles and breaks them down in detail, how to defeat them. There's some general technical information that you need to be aware of, but really it's just about practice. The tools seem to be mostly about specific size/shape, as much as the ability to transfer tactile response to your fingers (so you know when the pins inside the lock are set)
