Logi MX500 $34.99 @ Amazon after $10 MIR (+Free Shipping!)

I've been using the MX500 for a couple days now and I'm very impressed! Like everyone else I had trouble getting the scrollwheel to work in games, so I uninstalled the Mouseware (but left the driver). This works for me now - at least until LT gets their act together and releases new software (I know - don't hold your breath).

The mouse moves wonderfully - silky smooth on my mousepad (my machine is on a glasstop table so I have to use one) and VERY accurate. This is certainly a giant step up from my old ball mouse!

My mx500 is a great improvement over my original intellimouse explorer. I can't even make this thing skip if I want to, while my explorer was very easy to make it go nuts.

The MX700 is sweet! I have the older Logitech Mouseman Optical Cordless and love it. The only thing that I would improve on it is make the ergos a little bit more like the Microsoft cordless and make it so you can recharge the batteries easily because this thing tends to eat batteries. The MX700 has addressed both of my small issues. I think I will grab one once it gets a little older and I see the price come down a bit more. I got my Logitech for $30 plus tax after a rebate and PM when it was still going for $70 at BB.

Great deal, wireless aren't quite up to par to their corded siblings, plus none of the problems associated with the MX700. Hopefully changing to this mouse won't affect my fragging abilities!

But yah, they just dropped the price another $3 bucks or so.....this is a hot deal since Amazon is the only one offering this rebate on this killer brand spankin new mouse

Have you tried Logitech's "Mouse Registry File for GAMERS" fix? If not, you can download it here.
