Login problems

I was able to login to Anandtech. Oddly, my wrong email address was listed with that login.

Being logged into Anandtech is different from being logged into the Anandtech forums. When I tried to login to the forums with the same userid and pw, it didn't accept my pw.

I've gotten email from the forums to my correct email. I updated my login to anandtech, not the anandtech forums to show my current email. I told anandtech forums login I couldn't remember my PW. It sent email to my correct email address and I changed my pw to the same as my anandtech (nonforum) login PW and it seems things are OK.

I don't know why this happened. Why are there two logins? You can click on FORUMS, right under where you login on the front page. You would think logging in there logs you into the forums.

Anandtech's main page (comment section of the articles) and the Anandtech Forums are two areas that are completely independent from each other.

I clicked on the CONTACTS link at the bottom of the main anandtech page and it took me to a financial company.

That is Future's corporate page (who owns Anandtech, Tom's Hardware, PC Gamer, etc.).

If you still have login issues on the forums, someone like Esquared can handle most things. If you have have login issues on the main page, I'm not sure who would handle that now. Maybe someone like SHaines? In another thread, they listed a contact email address that might work for general concerns about the main site:

I was able to change my PW on the forums login. It had my current email address.
I don't know why the login on the main page had a different email address.
