grrr, i need new speakers, why cant i bring myself to buy these lol. I know they dont compare to polk or whatever, but am i going to be pissed when I get them if i'm used to listening to a polk home theater?

amazon has these for 44.99 AR. There 54.99 with $10 rebate. I may go for these since egg charges tax in cal and would be basically the same price except for the $10 mia. Free super saving shipping also.

that looks like a good deal to me.. had i not just ordered some other speakers from newegg, i would have ordered these.. aside from the fact that i really don't have a need for that many speakers around my damn desk.

Why wouldn't you use the $10 rebate with Newegg?

I am going to. I printed it out from amazon and it says that it is not valid in "Canada or a Best Buy, BJ's, Circuit City, CompUSA, Electronic Boutique, Fry's Electronics, Gamestop, Kmart, Meijer, Microcenter, Multi-Micro, Office Depot, Office Max, Sam's Club, Target, and Wal-Mart."

I don't see Newegg on the exemption list, so I am sending it in and I recommend you do it as well.

Got these for a friend's build. They sound really good, and clean, only drawback is the sub just doesn't seem to have as much punch as the z640's (which seem to be discontinued now).

I just bought it at Amazon. Heck with Monarch, I had a terrible experience with them.
