I didn't weight it, but I know for sure that it weighed more than 2lbs.
Yah heheh, its definitely more than 2 lbs...got mine today.
The keys are definitely not as loose as the ones on my cordless optical freedom; haven't decided which feel I like better. I'm leaning towards this one as keystroke response is tighter.
The receiver has LED lights indicating caps and numlock. Also, the receiver uses USB for the KB and the mouse seems to natively support PS/2. Its the opposite on my Logitech Cordless Freedom Optical (predecessor to Elite). Both work fine pre-Windows and in the BIOS.
As someone mentioned, volume is controlled by buttons rather than the dial, but I find the buttons to be better as the dial on my Freedom is rather flimsy and unresponsive. Also missing the scroll button and execute functions, but those are redundant if you have a mouse with a scroll wheel and back button (I'm using my MX700 with the keyboard).
Wrist rest is smaller profile and less intrusive than the Freedom. Can't comment on the mouse functionality as I'm not using it (and don't intend to ), but it feels lighter and flimsier than the Cordless Optical Mouseman (same design as Elite) and of course my MX700. Also has only the standard LR and scroll wheel buttons. Good mouse for lefties though, looks to be similar to the MX300 (not sure which optical engine it incorporates).
I'll probably end up using this keyboard on my main rig as it adds some nice features and feels better (LED indicators, volume buttons, USB), and send my complete Freedom to my web server (better mouse on the Freedom too).
