The sale is over btw.. Back up to $54.29. Still an awesome deal though.

Heh.. Ok.. I was thinking that he was somehow getting both for $28 the way it was worded. Also, someone had mentioned $29.99 after rebate each and that was in my head, but I'm actually getting both of them for just shy of $25 each.Just basic math: $96 - 2($20) = $56 / 2 = $28

Went to staples to pick up mine today, first staples I went to the GM didn't want to do it...so I went to another staples and talked to the sales manager and got it now to send in the rebate, muahaha.
edit- the sale's manager's reaction was pretty funny and well worth the trip too just kinda let out a whistle as a whipped out the $10 off coupon before he rang it up.

Everman,
You might want to check the rebate form.
It says "Rebate offer NOT valid at: Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, CompUSA, Circuit City, and Fry's Electronics"
I wanted Staples to pricematch, but i was concerned that the rebate might get rejected because of that. Just a heads up.
Unfortunately I can now validify that this type of shadiness has happened to more than one person. I ordered two sets, both of which arrived with their boxes already opened. One set's box had its end flap almost completely torn off. No visible major component damage, but who would want an obvious return. Shoulda known better ... I'm still waitin' on that 19" Hitachi monitor I ordered from BUY.CON a few years ago. And for those unaware, BUY.CON and Ingram Micro are inextricably linked, so BUY really does bear responsibility on the fulfillment end of things. You sure can tell Scott Blum is back ...What I got was a used and scratched setup, with missing documentation. I immediately returned it for credit, but the final cost to me was the return shipping that I paid, and no keyboard.
May not happen to you, but someone else here got the same crap as I did.

Yeah I just called them too and was about to post that this offer is apparently valid for ANY purchase location. But you beat me to it
Wait, so how is this offer valid for ANY purchase location? I thought the rebate form said "Rebate offer NOT valid at: Best Buy, Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, CompUSA, Circuit City, and Fry's Electronics".....
Well I mean that I called them up through that 877 number and waited for a rep to pickup. I then asked them about the terms and conditions of the rebate after telling them the promo#. I specifically asked them if this offer was limited to any purchase location in particular. They told me that there aren't any when she pulled it up on the computer so I'm pretty sure this rebate should be good whether you buy it from staples or from buy.com
Ok Mr. President, I see that you're making up your own words again.Unfortunately I can now validify that this type of shadiness has happened to more than one person.
