I'm not sure how hot this is, but I was at my local Staples yesterday and saw this combo selling for $59.99. I did a quick search online and couldn't find anything even remotely close to this price anywhere else. Oddly enough, staples.com is even asking $99.99 for it.

Also, I believe there is a 20% MIR which would bring the total cost down to roughly $48. Seems like a pretty nice deal for what I hear is a really nice product.

If this is indeed the MX, this would be VERY hot. A $40 savings on (what I think, at least) is the best Logitech combo is a big deal, considering the Elite Duo sells for that.

Basically, you're getting the rechargable mouse for free.

I think possibly you made a mistake. They have the MS wireless bundle (kb and mouse) for that price and they also have the "lesser" version of the Logitech bundle (Cordless Access Duo) for the same. However, the Elite Duo MX is still at or around $99.

I suppose it's possible that I made a mistake here so if I get a chance I'll stop by the store sometime tonight and confirm the price. Maybe while I'm there I'll pick one up for myself if the price really is $59.99. Does anybody know if there is any other way to "sweeten" the deal besides the 20% rebate?

One heck of a deal if you didn't make a mistake. I just called my 4 local Staples and they all say $99 and change. The Microsoft one is prob the one you were thinking of. If not this is a pricing mistake, and YMMV even at that store. So hurry up!!

You CAN however get the MX at $69.99. Quite strange, but if you click through the website you see it for $99.99. However if you type in the part number as a "catalog order", it shows up $69.99. Add in Logitech's 20% rebate, and a coupon if you have one, and it's quite cheap. I ordered mine last night - added a 100 sheet pack of photo paper (needed some anyway), used a one-time coupon for $15 off $75 they gave me, and got the whole thing shipped right at $70 with tax. Not blazing, but if I consider that I'd have bought the paper anyways, it's "kind of like" getting the keyboard and mouse at about $50-ish if the rebate comes through.

The more I think about it, I am about 99% sure that this was the Logitech MX Duo. The reason I'm so certain is because the picture on the box showed a rechargeable mouse which I don't believe any of the other bundles out there have. Also, on the left side of the keyboard was the scrolling wheel which the Microsoft keyboard definitely does not have.

It seems to me that this is probably a pricing mistake on their part so like dnuggett said YMMV. Now my only question is should I get my butt over there right now or take my chances and wait until tomorrow so I can use my 12% off Customer Appreciation Days coupon (Valid Dec 12-14 only) What do you all recommend?

Can you split up the keyboard and the mouse and use them on two different PCs? My wife would like the cordless keyboard and I would love the mouse. Tks!

Nope one receiver controls both. On the Cordless MX Duo, the reciever is in the mouse charging stand, while on the Cordless Elite Duo, it is a little wedge shaped box that sits behind your PC. I've never seen a "Cordless Elite Duo MX," so I'm not sure which one is being offered here. I did pick up a Cordless Duo MX for my wife's computer at work for $60, so it is indeed possible this deal could be on a Duo MX.
