That's pretty good.. now I just have to get this returned without eating the shipping charge.

Buy.com sent me the useless generic response:

We thank you for writing to us for assistance with the return of item #203329570. We will gladly assist you in determining if an RMA can be issued for a return. To ensure that we are able to honor your RMA request we need to know the following:

- Has the item been opened?
- Is the item defective? If so, please explain the nature of defect.
- Is the original packaging intact?
- Is the UPC barcode intact? If not then please provide us the reason regarding the same.
- Would you like to receive a replacement or credit?

Seems like phone calls will be required.

I bit on this. Unfortunately, I also got a used model. In my case it seemed to be a display. It had the same stickers on the box and also had a large scratch on the surface. I didn't even hook it up. It's already RMA'd and sent back since buy.com also gave me the standard generic responses. We'll see what they say when they receive it.

Definitely, I will not deal with buy.com again.

Yes they refunded the full amount including shipping to me and they provided the UPS labe for the return.
