yeah, they approved my G5 rebate but not my G7, saying that it was not purchased on the right date, which was impossible since i purchased them together. i called them up and they just changed it and i was all set, now both have ship dates in June. Also, the invoices i sent them were the ones I printed off Amazon but they did contain the shipped from TD, but that did not make a difference, i think they just wanted to see an Amazon invoice.

Easy as pie, waddya know? I've had terrible luck with rebates in the past--some disappear into thin air, get denied for wrong reasons, etc. IME, however, if yours gets rejected, Fight for it. Call them up, fax them things, and be massively patient.

I had this one for a Netgear router, which I did by the letter--no mistakes on the submission form or anything. They rejected it saying the item wasn't part of the offer. I had to spend quite a while no the horn with this imbecile who evidently had no idea what I was talking about, I had to read the item # back to her like eight (!) times slowly. They had lost my form, and I had to fax in another copy... etc. etc. Eventually I got my rebate check. Bottom line is, they have to make quota, and if too many peole mail in their rebates, some will get shafted. But if you really push them patiently, you will get your check.

logitech just said mine was declined because i bought it on the wrong date which is incorrect.

My guess is they count on either people not sending the rebate in or not contesting it when they decline it. After all why would they want to give us $50 back if they can get away with keeping it.

This has nothing to do witht e rebate

but on the G7, is the right mouse button suppose to be hard to click?

when i click it, it doesnt make a click noise and just works, but it feels hard to push down.

thought it was kind of weird

You need to have your replaced. Yours seems to be defective. The right click should feel exactly like the left click.
