i would like to show u that you can make a bit of money and get this mouse for free after rebate by:

1.) adding to cart.
2.) signing up for their visa card
3.) total = $35.74
4.) rebate -$50.00
5.) profit++

the rebate center has to be retarded...i had to call and straighten out my G5 rebate this morning, which was not that big of a deal but what i dont get is that my G7 rebate went through fine but the G5 said invalid purchase date...yet i purchased the two mice on the same day and they were both on the same receipt. either way, anyone who has trouble, call the number on the rebate form and then hit zero twice to talk to someone, they take care of it with pretty much no questions asked.

This deal is dead. Rebate was only good from 3-14 to 3-20-06

That probably was your only mistake. You sent in a Tiger Direct packing slip, instead of the Amazon.com invoice, which makes no mention of TigerDirect.

BTW, I purchased mine at Amazon, through TD, and my on-line status states, "We have received your submission and it is being processed." I'm just not sure if there's a final stage of processing, or it's already been approved.

I also got a G7 from TD thru Amazon. I just printed off a copy of the Amazon Invoice from their website. Just checking the status - The estimated mail date for your check is 26-May-2006. Great $17 mouse!

I just got the shaft. My Amazon receipt mentions Tiger Direct and I just got a Logitech postcard stating that I bought from a non-qualifying store.

Any clues on how to proceed?

I guess you didn't read any of the messages in this thread. You must have sent in the packing slip, instead of the on-line Amazon.com invoice... which makes no mention of Tiger Direct. I would call the number on the rebate, and tell them of the mistake. Maybe they'll have you fax over the correct invoice. Good luck.

that's not your printable invoice averox, there is a better place to print it off of.

You should've gone to My Account -> Print Invoices -> G7 Invoice. Click the "Need to Print an Invoice button" at the bottom of the page. It makes no mention of Tiger Direct on it, like bradley said

Anyway, I got both rebates processed as well. Both the G7 and G5. They have all have scheduled shipping dates.

Mines still says "Sold by: TigerDirect (seller profile)"
And yes, in the plain text "Need to print an invoice" page.

I wonder if I can do some creative omission

Everytime I see this thread I feel sad. I missed the purchase date by 1hr for the use of the rebate.

All I know is mine got approved and I printed up an invoice via amazon. The order was fulfilled through TD.

I had an issue with them before. I just sent them a reply saying that I sent everything and I have proof. The next day i checked the status and it was changed from invalid to valid.

I would just call them up and explain that the Rebate does not mention that it had to be fulfilled by Amazon. I called them after I had ordered mine and they said it would be fine as long as I bought it thru
Amazon from TD.

Yeah, I got one of those postcards too. I went to rebates.logitech.com and filed for a response, and they put my rebate back in the system. I bought from TD, and I think I'll get this rebate, otherwise it would be misleading advertising
