Got one delivered. Using the 4.30 drivers on XP Pro.
Some reports of brake pedal binding on the return to up position, loosen the 2 screws on the bottom, check.

Also, my brake doesnt rest on dead zero at brake meter in cal. screen, anyone else see that?

Centers fine, thank goodness.

Got two refurbs in the mail. One works perfectlty, shows no signs of use, and has all serial numbers (?). The other does not work.

Still not bad for $80.

Mine's box was real ugly - it looked like a mouse had been chewing on the bottom. But when I opened it up, everthing was brand new and bright red.

Now to get used to this thing....

Forgive my ignorance but what is it that makes this better than the current black Momo other than it looks flashier and is made of aluminum?

Supposedly works better and is higher quality. Not just aluminum stuff, but leather "Momo" branded steering wheel.

Wow, picked up a new one, and it came in a Logitech brown box with a shiny & perfect retail box inside!

As for the defective refurb I got, they took it back and immediately refunded.

Kudos to Just Deals!

This is the most popular mass produced wheel used by professional and serious amateur sim-racers. Aside from look and feel, the materials and components are higher quality with these. You can go nearly as fast with the current model but it is MUCH less reliable.

They go in and out of stock so you have to check the links very often. When they do go back into stock there is only a few ones and they go fast. The day I made this thread they sold out and I am glad I bought one before I made it because it did not take long afterwards for them to be out of stock.

Anyway keep checking and one or two will pop up sooner or later and just grab it without thinking about it. You mull it over thinking if you should or not and it will be too late.

I hope so.

I highly doubt this. The 360 requires a certification in order to be compatible with the 360. This is to ensure there are no security risks, such was the case with the Action Replay for hacking the Xbox 1.

Yeah they are. I have the sidewinder drivers installed. Seperated axis for the gas and brake.
tomshardware had a roundup, they rated it as the second best wheel, behind the red momo force. They didn't have the newer, cheaper momo force.

Damn I wish I've gotten in when it was in stock. They still go for $175-200+ on ebay.

The RED Momo Force was designed and sold at a $230 price point. Metal Pedals, Shafts, Ball Bearings, Electrical Connectors, user replaceable quality pots, Real Leather wheel. It's the best sub $500 wheel out there.

The Black Momo Racing Force is a $100 wheel, lots of plastic, soldered connections, bushings. not in the same class at all. But is the best of the still sold $100 wheel market.

I have two of the red ones, bought one years ago from that site...it had a problem with the brick, Logitech sent a whole new wheel. Now I have a killer spare!

I am looking for another for a buddy....hope more show up.

This is not the proper forum to be selling your wares.

This is not the proper forum to be a moron either but you are still here.

That sort of language and immature name calling is not appropriate here in the AT forums. Perhaps where you come from that sort of behavior is condoned, but not here.

What are some good games to play with this wheel? A friend of mine has one that he dosen't use...

Does it work with the Xbox360 say project gotham3? because that would be awesome. I know for sure it dosen't work with Ps2 and GT4, I tried it and when it didn't work I gave it back.

Careful, man, he's got 375 posts, he could have you banned before you know what is happening!

ROFLMAO!

Coolioschmoolio, I am not "peddling wares." People in this thread have expressed disappoinment over not being able to find these wheels, so I am letting them know where they can score one.

Dork!

I tottaly agree and would of done the same as you. Nothing wrong with letting people know you have one for sale in a thread that is dead and people still wish to get thier hands on one badly. I thought it was quite funny though watching a newbie come in here like a mod cop telling what you can and cannot do
If anything Im the OP of this thread and if I feel it was un called for I should have the beef and say so
