logitech mx1000 and firefox

any idea why i cant use the front and back buttons with firefox? IE seems to work fine

Buttons seem to work fine using my MX500 and FireFox, you install the latest drivers for your MX1000 from Logitech's site?

Side note: How do you like your MX1000? I was thinking of getting one to replace my aging MX700.

you have to make those buttons generic buttons for them to work with firefox.

Remap them in SetPoint to Alt+Left(Back) & Alt+Right(Forward)

Just uninstall SetPoint and they'll work. I love my MX1000, wouldn't trade it for anything else out there currently.

Bateluer, i replaced my mx700 with it. its a great improvement but i only paid $40 for mine. i dont think i would pay any more to replace a still live and kicking mx700
