It could also be that some people don't have the same gaming "style" that you (or others with the same "problem) have, but I'm SURE you've factored that into the equation also -- it's probably THE difference that we need to focus on here..
In either case, you can't discount those of us who can't deal with it.
Nobody should discount your claim that for YOUR style of play that this version of their mouse doesn't function like YOU want it nor does it function like their predecessors did.. I don't think Logitech is BOUND to make their newer products work in EVERY SINGLE fashion that their predecessor did.. This doesn't make it a SCAM.. I've seen many new versions of products not work EXACTLY as their predecessors.. If you don't like a product or how it handles, RETURN IT.. If you bought it from somewhere where you can't return it then you are SCAMMING YOURSELF..
If YOU are too ignorant to comprehend the above then I know what YOUR issue really is..
I called Logitech about the setdown delay, and they weren't willing to do anything about it. The service dude talked to his manager and was told that this was inherent in the MX1000 design. I was also told the MX700 is no longer produced so they couldn't send me one.
