Anyone else having a problem with their mice lately? About 22 months ago I had a g500 replaced and I just sent in a claim as the one I got back is again having issues with the button failing to maintain contact when clicked and dragged.

I have a M500 and I'm having trouble with the buttons on either side of the wheel. what other brands of mice are of good quality? I did an RMA one the first one for erratic behaviour and this is my seconds one. use to be you could ccount on logitech until you decided to replace it. I still have a wireless one i that was part of mouse/kb combo that still works just fine. batteries not so much but that not logitechs fault.

Having the clicks fail is a common problem. The issue is that they use Omron switches. Pretty much every brand except Zowie also uses Omrons so switching brands doesn't mean you won't have this problem. It. Is possible to open the switches inside the mouse and flatten the leaf spring to get the clicks to work again.

I'm still using my Logitech Mouseman Cordless Optical mouse as my main rig mouse. I bought it in 2001. Still going strong and still eating batteries. Buttons all still work, fits great in my hand, and is perfectly weighted. My wife's M325 stops working for no reason. I have to take out the battery and reinsert it for it to resume functioning. I hate garbage quality.

all of my logitech mice I have owned over the years where replaced because I got the new shiny one instead. They end up at work until they die. Last one died (last month) from the cable going bad. I could have fixed it, but I didnt bother. IT was a mx510. I got a g500 now in its place which i bought when it came out.

I wore out one G500 with Torchlight 1 and 2. My free replacement is going kinda bad too -- playing DA: I for ~170hrs.

Same issue as you.

I guess it really depends on how hard you abuse the thing, but I've read about the G500 having this problem.

I think it's about specific models, my G5 has been working fine for 6 years.

Silly people, the buttons are actually very easy to fix. The issue is the metal bit they use as a spring gets flattened out, and bending it back fixes it. I fixed a G500 several years ago and it's still going strong.

Just need a small flathead screwdriver to take the switch apart, total time might be 20-30 minutes if you haven't taken one apart before.

Been a dedicated Logitech user for decades now myself.

Still use their trackballs at any rate.

Most things have always lasted at least 5 years.

I just had my first experience with Logitech warranty service. All I can say is I'm glad the Logitech mouse I have is not an expensive one. Their "three year" warranty is worthless and the support, warranty service, whatever it's called, is absolutely terrible.

No more Logitech products for me.

My experience is very good with Logitech , currently using MX 518 and Trackman live RF wireless pointer device from 2001 . I wear out the MX 510 after a lot of abuse and the 518 seem a bit sturdier .

I'm currently using a G500s at home, and an MX518 that has to be around 10 years old at work. The MX518 is still going strong, and that's after it was relegated to being a work mouse after years of gaming use.

Logitech did have some quality issues with the finishes on some of their mice. I had a G5 copper mouse that had issues with the finish rubbing off over the span of 2-3 years of normal usage.

Logitech replaced it for me with a G5 with the crackly blue finish. They initially wanted me to provide them with a receipt, but I was like "for a mouse, seriously!?!", and they waived that requirement.

The finish on the replacement G5 wore off after a few years as well, but I really like the shape of these mice, so I replaced it with my current G500s which hasn't had any issues with the finish thus far.

I like the fact that the new mouse saves the DPI and custom button settings internally instead of in the Logitech software, so they stay the same when I switch between using it with my Macbook and Windows box.

after waiting for each of my email replies to be printed and mailed to the support center in india, finally got word that they'll be replacing it and asked if a 502 would be good as they don't have the 500 anymore. 502 looks a little funky, but since it looks like that is how they are designing most of the line now guess it's a good way of trying it out.

I've had a time getting a response from logitech about the rma request for my g701+ keyboard. I ended up going to their facebook page and posting to get their attentoin which worked. They were supposed to send me a prepaid shipping label within 24-48 hours and it never arrived. Nevertheless, it didn't stop me from buying a g910 orion spark keyboard.

Got an email this morning that my replacement was "on hold". Assuming this means the customer support section doesn't have any new stock in at the moment to allocate as the message itself is rather lacking in clarity/detail.

Right after I posted that I received the shipping label and sent the kb back. I'm hoping that it won't take too long to get the replacement. Lupi perhaps you should request a refund if the replacement doesn't really suite you.

My experience is pretty great with Logitech so far. I own speakers, keyboard and mouse and so far after 3-4 years or usage everything works as expected.

Have a KB/headphones from them on each computer. Just the mice that haven't been doing great. And also wish they would redesign them so the wired ones were smaller than the same enlarged body size as the wireless even though they don't contain a battery.

Well, after being told a replacement is on the way, then saying there was a hold on it, today I get a note where they told me they will not be honoring the warranty on the mouse as it was a (brand new) replacement and the original mouse warranty was expired.

Guess its a good thing I bought that sharkk one already and it will have to be at a deep discount before I go with another logi again after this steller service.
