Logitech Z-560 Deal

Very Nice ! Speakers. I picked up a pair at Dell several months ago for $80.

These are more then computer speakers, they sound like regular stereo speakers. I purchased the gaming bundle from Dell for $156, then several days later canceled order but the speakers where delivered anyway, so I called Dell CS, and they informed me they would send me an RMA package to mail them back, after two weeks I called and asked what is going on, Dell CS informs me that RMA will be delayed another week, so I put my thinking cap on and say, "Well, how about I keep the speakers and you give me some sort of discount?", the Dell CS rep, sais 'Sure'... how about an even $65 bucks off... I jumped on it... so needless to say, it took 3 weeks to get the credit adjustment on my CC after a phone call to Dell CS...

I do have to say that Dell Customer Service stinks....

I guess the CS rep. wanted to make things good, being that I cry'ed about how long the RMA process was taking and I have this BIG box sitting in my living room for the last 3 weeks. I did not even mention an amount, the CS rep. came up with the amount. When I heard $65, I said "Sure" and that's all it took, the next thing I know, she gave me a voucher # incase the credit did not go through... glad she gave me that # cause I had to call Dell back and ask where is my $65 bucks.... so even though I had to hassle with calling Dell Customer Service it was worth it in the long run... less then a Franklin for a gaming bundle...

Here's some advice if you purchase the gaming bundle from Dell, if you have a joy stick already and don't need the one that comes with the bundle, just return the un-opened Joy stick to Target for a credit of $35 bucks... and pick up some CD's or something...

I am deciding right now between the Altec Lansing 641 or these Logitech speakers. It seems like a pretty tough decision. I am going to Compusa later today to see if they have both of them on display to try out.
