I just followed the link posted on the first post over at FW and I still got $39.94. I added it to my cart and the price stuck. Now I go back and the product page is $49.94, but it's still $39.94 in my cart.
It must be changing back and forth minute by minute. Keep trying, and when you get the $39.94, cart it. Maybe it only offers $39.94 for the first view from a web address?
Anyways, I have this speaker set which I bought at Amazon for a tad over $50.00 and they are well worth that price. Works terrific with my Audigy.
Note: I was getting a high pitched interference noise with this setup at first. I found that the source was the "CD Audio" input which can be found in the "control panel>sounds & audio devices>device volume advanced" tab. I muted it and the noise is gone. I have a dual DVD writer drive using digital out and a CD/RW drive using the analog audio out. I still get sound from both drives with "CD Audio" muted.
