how about the warrenty? the warrenty of logitech is pretty cool, they simply give u a set of new speakers for any small problems.

there is no warranty on refurbished item from logitech because I called to find out if they will give some sort of replacement.

I ordered a set about 2 months ago from justdeals. Look and sound brand new. One warning, they are a little too loud! Bass is too boomie for my tastes. I have a home office and the family complains it's too loud, so I use headphones mostly....I'm going back to my z-640's for surround sound tv watching.

I got mine refurbed from just deals 3 months ago. THey were in a brown box, Not a scratch on them, they replaced my z560's. I hooked them up using a TOS optical cable to my DFI NF3 boards 5.1 Optical, Turned on the 5.1 digital on my board, and also hooked up the analog to my other rig that's on a KVM switch a intel rig.

These speakers rock, And switching from digital to analog, there are a lot more Highs to it and you can tell the difference.

$165 and free shipping is Insane for these. Do not hesitate if you got the cash.

chances are that what you get will be ok, however if you need to exchange or return something be prepared for a huge hassle. It took me 4 months back and forth with my credit card company to get my money back. I have ordered from there a number of times before with no problem but after this latest experience, I am done with them.

Remember that a lot of Z-680s have a problem with the bass humming (when no sound is otherwise being sent to them) due to something associated with the control pod. It wouldn't surprise me if these were all versions that had been returned due to that problem.

I ordered the 4.1s for $94 instead. These are for a friend, and I currently own the 4.1s. I am very satisfied. Plus, it's not worth $70 to get an extra speaker, a remote, and have them reburbished.
