Does anybody know if its possible to hook up JUST the subwoofer to a receiver. I would like to use the sub for my home theater system. I have a kenwood receiver which has an rca hookup for the sub. Right now i have the sub plugged in through the headphone jack on the front, but it doesnt sound too great. Anybody know how i can hook the sub up through the rca jack? thanks

I'm curious, for those who had to turn the bass down because it was "too much" where do you have the sub in relation to yourself? Mine is under the desk and I've got the bass all the way up and it's just right.

You need an adapter. Radio Shack is your friend

Think I got it.. Definitely location and way it's faced. I took a walk around my desk while the sub was going and found it rediculously loud in the bass department when I was on the opposite side of my desk.

Apparently the tabletop is blocking the majority of the bass and I'm feeling it as much as hearing it.

Great speakers. Loud and clear, I'm loving these!

well the correct setup is to have the subwoofer on the floor not a shelf or whatever, and have it as close to the wall as possible. touching is best. corner will amplify even more. maybe excessive though. bass is nondirectonal so if your desk is blocking bass, that doesn't make sense

Bass is non-directional on a gradient...so if your desk is blocking bass, that might actually be a good thing

I just got mine delivered from ebuyer at $58.10 (after shipping and rebate). Pretty sweet deal. The $50 rebate lasts until Oct. 31 but only seems valid through online resellers.
