Guess that depends on which you would want more. Waiting a bit and saving 30 bucks, or paying more and getting them sooner.
After going through the speakers a bit more, there is definately an improvement over my old Logitec speakers...the X-something-or-other ($50 range). The cabling is tight and does not move around causing that static/distortiony interference you sometimes get. Again, these speakers are very clear for their price. One downside I guess you could say is that you can actually make out the crappy mp3 encoding alot of people do I've put these speakers through tests with my keyboard, which has huge range on both sides, along with various THX tests and the set didn't produce any distortion. I have only turned up the system to about 25% however, since I do hav neighors....with guns and alcohol. They're loud enough as is.
